Defra 'considering opportunities' to reduce costs and availability of peat alternatives

LibDem peer Lord Bradshaw has asked in a written Parliamentary question what assessment Defra has made of the relative cost of peat-free compost, and compost incorporating peat; and what steps Defra is taking to reduce the cost of peat-free materials to gardeners.
