Eustice admits coronavirus lockdown has "an impact on some" ornamental producers

Defra secretary of state George Eustice acknowledged the coronavirus lockdown and closure of garden centres has “had an impact on some specialist plant producers in the ornamental horticultural sector” but has given no hint he is considering giving the industry grants or is planning to re-open its path to market – garden centres.
