Loss of product creates Christmas trees problem

Leader control is a big issue in Christmas trees with probable loss of the Tipoff growth-retardant product and extra growth in 2014 leading to problems with length. The preferred technique is “decapitation”, according to British Christmas Tree Growers Association consultant Colin Palmer.
