Paris highlights serious threats to horticulture

The National Living Wage (NLW) could send landscape companies into administration, while venture capitalists’ short-termism is preventing investment in technology that could beat salary rises, HTA chief executive Carol Paris has said. She was speaking at the International Horticultural Forum at IPM Essen, which had the UK as a partner country this year.
