Scotts Miracle Gro grows sales

For the fiscal first quarter, Scotts had sales of $246.8 million, up 27 per cent, with the U.S. Consumer segment sales increasing 11 per cent in the quarter to $125.5 million, while sales for the Europe Consumer business declined five per cent to $24.4 million, but were up slightly when excluding the impact of foreign exchange rates.
