Plant Description: Top Hat chill hours can be in between 400-800 hours required which would make it produce from zones 3-8. Top Hat is the perfect Dwarf Blueberry Plant for container growing. The plant is self-fertile and maintains a perfect bush like shape that doesn't require pruning. Just 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall, these little beauties have a lovely, compact mounded shape that is loaded with white blossoms in the spring and red foliage in the fall. This little plant is a big producer that gives you hundreds of firm, flavorful dusky blue fruits with a wild blueberry flavor. How to Grow: Most all edible plants grow well in Full Sun but a little shade won't hurt. Blueberry Plants need to be planted in acidic soil/low pH 5.5-6.4. I recommend 60%Pine Mulch/40% Peat. As your plant gets bigger you can change the ratio to more Pine Mulch up to 100%. Keep your soil moist and when it is about dried out water again.
