Oxalis regnellii 'Francis'-Purple Shamrock

Oxalis regnellii 'Francis'-Purple Shamrock also known as False Shamrock is a bulb plant that produces deep purple shamrock shaped leaves and lilac colored blooms. It can grow to a height of 16" with a spread of 12"-15" and requires a well drained, moist soil. Oxalis regnellii 'Frances'-Purple Shamrock requires partial shade and is hardy in zones 7-9.

Container Gardens/Terrariums/Houseplant

Oxalis regnellii 'Francis'-Purple Shamrock works great for container gardens, hanging baskets or as a houseplant where the foliage will cascade over the sides of the pot. It is also suitable as a ground cover and will quickley fill in. Keep Oxalis regnellii 'Francis'-Purple Shamrock out of direct sunlight as this will cause the leaves to scorch and burn.
